Does anyone know when the US mint started putting COAs in their proof sets? I think it was 1986, but I would like some confirmation on this. Thanks!

Just dug through the proof storage boxes (of course that date being in the box next to the bottom) and yep, that is the first year they are in there. I had never thought about it or taken notice before now.

I really need to figure a shelving system for these proof and mint set boxes...
