Older (copper) Canadian cents are easier to find in the US (away from the border)than newer steel cents since the magnetic ones tend to get caught up in machines. I have found several 40's and 50's Canadian cents in Illinois, both in change and roll counting but can't remember that last newer steel cent I got.
