Sap Moderator Australia 16812 Posts	Posted 05/10/2013 8:16 pm It appears to be the type classified in Goron & Goenka as "Uncertain Ruler", G&G# AS42. Zeno.ru example. The footnote in G&G explains that, while the Emir's name is clearly present (on your coin, it's the characters at the bottom of the left-hand pic), the lettering is so badly drawn no-one can interpret it with certainty. jcmworld Pillar of the Community United States 567 Posts	Posted 05/10/2013 9:50 pm Mitchiner, 654. He classifies this as Ali (dates unknown) in Oriental Coins and their Values. Album in his checklist states that most Habbarid is really unattributable to a particular ruer, and no records are extant on mintage, types, etc. Mitchiner does give a written out legend in OCV. G&G seem to be going along with Album on these. Report this Post to the Staff
