As the title says, a younger woman paid for gas today with a pair of 5s that I couldn't believe were that good for their age.

Both are a nice crisp color and neither have any tears or even moderate folds, in fact if pressed in a book for a while they would have no real evidence of folding at all!

Keepers most definitely I'd say. I wonder where that woman got those bills from, I can't imagine they been in circulation long at all, someone must have put them away for years and only recently sent them back into the wild. I bet the younger woman didn't think twice about spending them for gas. Her loss, your gain. Congrats!
Also wanna note that those FRNs still have the treasury seal in latin (i think), starting with the 1969 FRNs they changed it into english.

Prior to collecting/selling error coins & currency, I collected all types of U.S. Currency and would hope my knowledge gained back then can pick out any note that has had a previous fold. Congrats on your find.

I plan on posting pictures after I find my good camera again, I don't want to run these through the scanner like I do pretty much everything else.
