Would anyone know anything about this coin like how much it would be worth or what type of metals is in it?. I have googled it but the only type of penny's that come up are all in bronze I know it's a U.S.A. 1902 Penny with an Indian's head on the back except the Indian's head is outlined in gold while the rest seems to be silver.

Looks like this coin was silver and gold plated, and to most numismatist, that's considered as damage. The coin itself is probably worth about a buck because of the damage, IMO. But the necklace might be solid gold so that could be worth a good amount.

Like mentioned the plating pretty much destroys the value of the coin, but I would leave it as it is in the necklace. It does look pretty good set up like that I think

Yeah, pretty cool as a necklace, almost worthless as a coin.

It's possible I suppose, but I doubt it based off those pictures. Look at the color of that necklace. It's not pure gold almost for sure and it would have to be a fairly soft alloy to be gold and be that color. They wouldn't make them like that unless it was an ear-ring.

Besides, nobody is going to put a low grade IHC into an expensive necklace, even in contemporary times.

It's probably gold plated and just as cheap as the coin held within.

As far as the coin. A damaged low grade 1902 (which is very common) IHC is probably worth .50 technically, but I don't think anyone would ever buy it individually.

Even as a simple novelty item, it probably wouldn't bring more than a few bucks. Looks interesting, though!

Ahesgut, I was just trying to be hopeful for him. Lol. I know basically nothing about gold, nor do I collect anything gold. So thanks for some schooling.

Found this:

The ad says "dates will vary", so they either make them or resell them. Either way, they don't seem to be selling for much.
