Greetings!

I'm a rookie here in the Coin Community Forum and I was wondering if someone could tell me exactly how to place a footer and/or signature with images in my posts? I guess I mean embed within my posts.

Thanks in advance.

From the rules section: Signatures: Signatures are not allowed until you reach 100 quality posts and must be discreet. Some forums look like a circus because of the crazy signatures that are allowed. This will not happen here.

Thanks joker! I don't want to post anything crazy, just my numismatic affiliations, memberships and my fire department banner in which I am a full-time Firefighter/EMT at Scott Township Fire Dept. Evansville, Indiana.

I have also seen at the top of some post dialog boxes where other members have an ebay link, messenger etc. I also sell on ebay, will I have to wait until I get 100 posts for that as well? Along with updating my avatar to a custom one of my choice?

Thanks again Joker

When you register I would think there would be a place to add you ebay username if not check under your profile edit page. Along the lines of avatars you will have to contact Susan, one of the owners, to have her change it. Search for avatars and all the info should be there.

Having noted his accurate explanation of the rules, why did you go ahead and do it anyway? I am now gong to have to edit every one of your posts to remove them.

I apologize SuperDave! Is this how people act within this forum because that came off to me as very rude? I was talking about posting images of my affiliations, not text!

Thanks for the warm welcome. It will be one to remember.

I think ssuperddave may just be frustrated because even after being told the rules, you chose to ignore them. Being a moderator, this places more work on his lap and seeing that they are unpaid, certain things may irk them.

This is a top notch forum but the rules are in place for a reason. I've been a member here for quite sometime and will tell you this forum is a lot more family friendly than most on the web. The mods do an excellent job at keeping things in order, my suggestion is to stick around for a while. I feel you will find your place here sooner than you think.

I do not enjoy the parts of my job which require me to not be nice. They are, all the same, necessary sometimes. Our rules are the same for everyone, and you chose not to adhere to them. In fact, it's almost certain that you never even read them, or you'd know how big a no-no it is for a new member to post a WTB thread. If you're going to blow off the rules, don't expect me to react by fawning over you.

Quite frankly, a new poster who not only posts a WTB thread but also links his ebay activity on his first real day of posting usually gets banned without warning. We cater to newer collectors here, and we take their protection very seriously.

I apologize to everyone I have offended. I will just stick to the standard text formatting within the forum, no footers and no links. Thank you.

Of course. You'll find yourself at the proper post level to "unlock" this stuff quite quickly - you're knowledgeable and unafraid to help. And you're a VAMmer, which is definitely in your favor.
