Heres a new batch which arrived. I paid £4.50 for the Constantine and then the guy offered 3 more coins to make it an even £10. Cant refuse a deal like that!

Heres the first, Constantine I:
Constantine I
CONSTA-NTINVS AVG
BEATA TRAN-QVILLITAS VO - TIS - XX
Trier
RIC VII Trier 368
322-323
Beautiful...lovely to hold and turn over. The copper is a nice orange and shines when you hold it.

Heres the other batch:

RIC VII Thessalonica 200
r1
330-348 ACE
Lovely patina, seems to be one which has been above ground a while - I think its been in PVC. Rated Rare!

This one is one I think has been above ground a while too - I'm not sure if its worth trying to clean it.

Holy cow! An R5! Draped - cuirassed, crispus, its the full deal! Well, sucks for the other guy, its an R4 now! And its definitely draped. Even if it wasnt, its still an R4. Gosh!

Thanks. Even the plume has decoration! It sort of reminds me of the globe on the Beata tranquillitas altars - perhaps it represents the sky. Swirl, dots and a star. Its pretty big too - 19mm at the maximum point. I've decided not to repatinate it...its really nice as it is. highlighted and shiny with a copper tone which looks as though the coin never saw the ground.
