I can't read the letters.

It measures about 17mm and weighs approx 2.55g. The gold colour is incorrect, it is a sort of dark grey colour.

Gallic empire - perhaps victorinus? I dont recognise the reverse and the pictures need to be head on to pin anything down. It looks like a cornucopia.

It looks more like Tetricus I to me, but both Tetricus and Victorinus look a bit alike.

Been through wildwinds and can't find a match. Maybe put it back in the DW and see if the letters can be cleaned up. I wasn't going to do anything else with it.

I don't think you would be able to bring out much more detail.

Thanks echizento. A few have been over cleaned in one of the lots I bought.

The Gallic Empire is something I've collected for a while and while I agree Tetricus and Victorinus are very, very alike I'd say this was the latter. Victorinus tends to have a slightly older appearance on his coins. Maybe a LAETITIA reverse?

Thanks Bobby
Had a look at laetitia on wildwinds, it doesn't quite seem to fit. It looks as though a good piece of the reverse is missing making it harder to identify.
