Has anybody seen this set around and what do you think of it?

I saw this on the CP website and while most of the packaging is stamp related, there are two coins included: a 200 year old Qing Dynasty coin and a 1000 year old Song Dynasty coin.

I'm not sure it's worth the $88.88 price tag, but it is nice packaging and art work.

(Note to mods - If this isn't the right forum, please do move it. I wasn't sure where to post since this is released by CP for the Canadian market)

Those are circulated Chinese coins. 200 year-old coins are quite cheap and common in China, the Song Dynasty coin's price varies dramatically depending on many factors.

The stamps are beautiful but I don't suggest anyone to buy the postal cards, especially the Mississauga Gate painting, don't think it qualified for an "artwork"

Thanks for your input loonar. I probably will just buy a booklet of the stamps to use.

I saw the set in an Ottawa post office and the attendant told me that they had a big to-do there with the unveiling of the coins, and the artist showing up to the PO as well.
