Enough detail is on this coin so that it can be identified as being Constantius II with "AQS" beneath the fallen horseman reverse design. However, I do not see an RIC variety on wildwinds that contains an "M" on the obverse to the left of the bust. Is this possibly a rather oddly formed "A"? Or am I missing something? Thanks!

You're right, its unlisted. But not for the reason you gave - the M behind is listed by Helvetica, but the horseman isn't listed as clutching in that case - perhaps its a mule? Perhaps I'm blind and he is reaching back?

BenByfield- Thanks for the help! Yeah, it does appear that the fallen horseman is clutching, yet there does appear to be a vertical line of some sort extending towards to soldier. But this may not be the horseman's arm.

Hate to break it to you, but thats a spear! Poor chappy went from fallen horseman to very much dead horseman not long after this.

BenByfield- Thanks for the help! But what is the RIC# for the coin which has the "M" on the obverse but depicts the fallen horseman reaching back?
