I do like the toning on the 84, but man that 82 S looks sweeeet , it looks like there is hardly a mark on it, except the eagles right wing and breast, are those die scratches or did they happen post mint? I would let any of these in my collection.

I am still working on my Peace set and haven't really spent much time on my Morgan set. Do you mind telling how much you had to pay for these?

Nice pick up! I really like the toner! I just picked up a 84 toner last week... Haven't gotten around to taking pics yet though.. Busy chasing the baby around.. Not a free minute... Ever... Lol, but she's worth it!

Nice coins, the toner looks sweet. Do the coins have luster on them? I can't tell from the pictures.

The only cure for your addition is to keep doing what you're doing, buy more Morgans! Nice looking group.

Comet....they are all lustrous unfortunately I can't catch it well with my point and shoot canon. I have been trying to figure a grade on the toned one and keep going back and forth. May pop it over on the grading forum.
This is a really fun set to work on.

I like the toned morgan. I think some of the blue coins are amazing. Somebody posted an out of this world trime a while back, and more recently somebody had an awesome Half Dime. I wonder what causes it? Great pickups.

I think the problem you're having attempting to grade the 84 could be due to the fact that the reverse is stronger than the obverse. When I see coins like this, I grade each side separately and come up with a net grade. I would grade the obverse a high EF45 low AU50 and the reverse AU55. final grade - net AU53. Nice additions to your collection

Nice coins....
If you use a piece of plane white paper for a background, it will help your camera show the color more accurate.
