Sorry I unable to load a photo but if needed I can email to anyone willing to help.

I have had in my possession a few quarter sized coins that aren't for currency.

They each have a President on the Front with a biography on the back. Here are the details of the layout and this applies to all of them, I will list the Presidents below that I have.

Ex. Woodrow Wilson (FRONT)

Top: WOODROW WILSON (curved along top border)
Center: Picture of President (seems to intersect with the O and W from his first name)
Bottom: (curved along bottom from left to right) 1913 28th President of the United States 1921

Ex. Woodrow Wilson (BACK)

From Top to Bottom:
Woodrow Wilson
Born DEC 26, 1856
Led Nation during World
War I; Prime Mover Behind
League of Nations; 2nd
President Awarded the
Nobel Peace Prize.
Died Feb. 3,
1924

Other Presidents I have and I believe there are more because I used to have many more are as follows:
William McKinley, William H. Taft, Warren Harding, Benjamin Harrison, James Buchanan, Martin Van Buren, Andrew Johnson, Theodore Roosevelt, George Washington.

I tried searching everywhere online but kept finding the $1 Presidential Coins and these are not them. They appear bronze or copper in color and I have had them for over 10 years.

I think I remember a gas station giving these out at one time. We'll see what others think though.

This link will show what the front looks like. I think you are talking about the Shell Oil Company Game, but after viewing different pictures of that and those saying Shell on the back I ruled it out unless they did different styles.

Without seeing a picture, I can't be certain but your description does seem to be that of a medal from the "Presidential Hall of Fame" set that the Franklin Mint struck for Shell Oil in the late 1960s. The pieces in this set do not say "Shell" on them.

Do an internet search using the search terms above and you should find a number of sets to compare against.

As they were produced in large number, even complete sets are not very valuable today. I've seen dozens of these sets sell for $25 or less over the past few years either online or at coin shows.
