Finally found one of these, but to the life of me, I cannot figure out the variety. The date looks a little like a WDDO-005, but I cannot see the doubling in liberty and in God we trust. The doubling on the date is in the loop of the 9, south and southeast on the 7 and 2. Any help will be appreciated.

What you have is not a doubled die at all, it is common Machine Doubling. Notice how flat it looks, and how it cuts into the numbers. True doubled dies are the same height as the device it doubles, and it adds to the thickness.

Well, pop my bubble; however responses did make me go back and research doubling again. Learn a little every day. Thanks folks; I guess the search goes on, but that is the fun part.

Searching is the fun part, until something clicks with all the education and information you can get from this sight. Then the fun part shifts to being able to identify things on your own, and turning around and sharing that knowledge with others on here.
