I can only do a few big shows in Toronto. So I've picked both CoinExpos. The one in the spring and the one in the fall.

SPP, I would like to hear your opinions on Torex (I've never been but I've heard plenty of comments similar to yours!)

No. Some things are better left unsaid...

Are you able to share your thoughts about Torex v/s Toronto Coin Expo. Do you not find the auction not appealing? Is it the range of dealers that is more/different at Toronto Coin Expo? Is it the location?

I am just curious. As a coin collector anything that takes me to a place where I can potentially get to see some variety is fair game to me. From what I have seen in the past there are some good dealers who do set up at the bourse at the Torex.

The main circuit of coin dealers set up at both shows. I only set up at two venues, Nuphilex in Montreal and Coin Expo in Toronto. I like to think of those venues as good shows for the full range of collectors. Of course, I am biased to Coin Expo, I know both the show owner and the auctioneer very well, and fully support the effort they are making to providing a great show for the collecting community.

My advice for Torex v/s Coin Expo - go to both shows, and draw your own conclusions, as I have done.
