Have any varieties of the 2012 cent been identified (other than the two different compositions CPZ and CPS)?

Just imagine what will happen if something odd does turn up. Will people go opening those rolls they've paid hundreds of dollars in hopes of finding an even more valuable rarity?

I have "dot" varieties, doubling, and die crack varieties, but I think they're all fairly common; I haven't heard of anything rare or stunning yet.

It's really time to start hoarding these -- no matter what the variety is. So fa I have only found 15 in coin rolls.

Some people claimed hope in a 2013 penny in the last million pennies. I opened a couple rolls no luck I noticed though that spotting occurs faster on zinc pennies then on steel. I cracked open a roll of each and almost all the zinc ones were spotted.

A 2013 5-cent on a old penny planchet would be a cool error....

We'll never know until the hoarders crack open their rolls.
