hi all, I just picked up some of these 5 gram scottsdale silver bars. 10 to be exact. they are still sealed in the plastic sleeve. when I looked these guys up I found that there is a series 1 and series 2. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what series these are? also, what are these worth? its a total of 50 grams. roughly 1.7 oz. I was just curious as to how I did. I know there is a little bit of a premium on these smaller amounts. sorry about the fuzzy pictures. my camera didnt want to focus

1.7 x $21.70 per, so about $37

Yes I know how to figure out the melt value. I was more interested in the value expected to be paid for them buying from a dealer.
bullion-investor13- just curious, what makes you say $.75 each?

My LCS would pay $1 under spot for them and probably sell them for $2 over.

It would appear from comparing OPs picture and the link to Scottsdale's series 2, that OPs bars are series 1 since they don't have the lattice effect on the reverse that series 2 has. I can't see the front well in OPs picture, but it also appears to be different wording than that of the series 2 picture.

That seller selling $15/ea is from Australia so my guess is his/her customer is in Australia as well..... which make it harder to have access to American's silver manufacturer products.

Series 1, the bars are thinner and cover more area. I think that is what you have. While the series 2 bars are more compact meaning less area creating a smaller thicker bar. Chunky if you will. But I maybe wrong, but I believe that is correct.
