Sadly it is holed but I think I got it for cheap.
I paid £4.70 for it (that's including postage)

It's a nice coin even with the hole. If you are happy with it at the price, that is all that matters.

My experience is that the the older holed 1d's 2d's 3d's and 4d's are about as commonly found as the U.S. Half Dimes, and silver 3 centers are.

I think most of the holes were drilled by second rate jewelers, in decades and centuries past, so they could be attached to cheap jewelry pieces, such as charm bracelets.
