This spring I went through LOADS of pennies. I bought all the boxes I could stand before the banks stopped distributing.
Lately I've only been sorting through stashes of small change people don't want to roll.
I have a reliable place to sell copper pennies for 1.5 cents and nickel nickels for 8 cents each.
That's what makes me want to sort another $1000 in nickels. 10% nickel=$50 profit. With the chance of some saleable varieties.
I recently did very well selling some popular nickel varieties on ebay.
For future reference $200 in copper cents is more then I can carry at once.

Who did you find that buys copper cents and nickel nickels? Individual? Store? I'm not looking to sell anytime soon just curious for future reference to maybe save time searching for a buyer.
