I've seen these before, but this is the first one with a loop attached. Not sure of their origin, but I believe they are play tokens.

Ok, I finally refound this thread after hunting for it a while. Couldn't remember what it was called. It is a 19th century game counter called Radiant eagle counter, some have the watch stem loop some don't the smaller ones can have the value on both sides with out the eagle. 5,10,25,50,100 in the hexagon. Brass material used in card games and such before chips came into play $1.00-$3.00 catalog value Alpert and Elman.
