Hi Guys, Just let you know Laura Secord coin exchange event will be in Downtown Toronto. Last coin in the series. Hope you guys enjoy the event. I posted this before, but thought I'd repost.
In addition to the Coin Exchange being held at First Canadian Place, there will be an additional coin exchange on Friday, June 21 to June 23 at the Redpath Harbourfront Festival from 9:30 - 6:00 (I think). This is part of "Parks Canada presents 1812 on tour". If you're up for kitschy tourism type photographs they'll supposedly have a giant inflatable 1812 and costumed figures to snap photos with. They'll be in Harbour Park Square East in the Parks Canada Tent.

Where is this info from? I can't find it on the mint.ca site at all. Does anyone know when is the Ottawa one? I need to complete my set. =) |

The information was posted on the RCM Twitter feed. Also, you can find it posted on the First Canadian Place website, and the RedPath Harbourfront Festival website. I also received an email from RCM this morning alerting me to other coin exchanges as follows: Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Laura Secord Homestead @ 29 Queenston Street, Queenston, Ontario (10:00 - noon for coin exchange). Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Laura Secord Homestead from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM AND at the DeCew House 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM |

Just as an update for anybody considering going today. I just came back from the Parks Canada 1812 Coin Exchange at Harbourfront. They don't have any Laura Secord rolls, but do have Shannon rolls. All rolls of coins are limited to 1 of each type per customer.
They told me that they should have Laura Secord rolls available for tomorrow at Harbourfront and definitely on Monday for First Canadian Place.
They do have all of the previous coins in loose form available for purchase, as well as booklets and maps.

Not sure if they have rolls available for exchange in Montreal.
But in Toronto, Many people ask for a full roll of either quarter or loonie. But the staff said they do not have rolls available.

They did a coin exchange also at the "Imaginaire" in Quebec City last Saturday. When I came in at about 1pm, no more uncolored Laura Secord (only colored one).
Also, this time, no roll available. Last time, for Salaberry, Rolls we're available.

I've just gone there. I arrived at 1:30 pm, Shannon and 2 others run out.
At least, I got some Collector Cards.
