Quote: There is a blemish on the bust side so I will be sending it back for an exchange. Hi Northerncoins, It's a shame that you received this coin in such condition. This should have been spotted by the mint's quality control before it was shipped. There have been other coins with defects posted on the forums lately. What is going on? I'm losing confidence in this Crown Corporation.

I mentioned to my rep it would have been great to haves complete set in a nice presentation box to compliment all the coins.

Just received 3 of my 6 bronze allegory today, they are beauty's ,the sad thing is that I think I like them more then my gold allegory that I had to send back for an exchange lol... Now just need that silver one that I ordered to finish the set, well and the exchanged gold coin back as well...

Received my other 3 bronze allegory's today and the CoAs are all in the 7700 range so I guess they are over half sold out if you can by that number but I guess there are a bunch at dealers etc that have not sold yet, they are getting sloppy as one coin was in upside down and the other 2 were at 8 and 9 o'clock position lol or maybe I am just being fussy ....
Also got an email saying my silver Allegory was shipped as well today...

I don't think you will enjoy the silver as much as bronze as bronze has a shine to it

Hehe ya I could see them not being perfectly centered but upside down? Almost like they did it on propose , oh well .
Ya I have the gold and I don't like it as well as the bronze so your probably right about the silver one as well, but I will have the "set" err once they send me another gold allegory since the first one had a large blemish/ mark on the bust side.

Received my silver allegory today, its very nice, just as nice as the bronze actually, I think because the gold allegory is so much smaller then the other two that it just cant compete with the other 2 coins, but it is 1/4 oz of gold so that in it self makes it nice , now just have to wait for the mint to send me the replacement gold allegory...

i loved my bronze one so I went to buy a silver and gold one but I can't justify over $600 for a 1/4oz of gold and if I don't have the gold, whats the point in having hte silver as it won't be a full set. so I only have the bronze.

Ya I hear ya but I was wanting a gold proof coin for awhile and when the allegory's came out I jumped on them, this could be one of those gold coins that doesn't sell out fully which will make the mintage lower then 2000, so has a possible long term value increase and even more so as a set. Time will tell I guess.

Quote: ...this could be one of those gold coins that doesn't sell out fully... Just my opinion, of course, but I'm thinking that all three of the allegory coins will eventually sell out at the RCM. I believe the design has broad appeal and that it generates interest among modern NCLT collectors, collectors of circulation coins and even non-collectors. As Northerncoins suggests, "Time will tell."

Quote: Finally received my exchanged gold allegory back from the mint to complete the set! Congratulations Northerncoins! That is really an outstanding set! I'm glad it didn't take very long for you to receive your replacement gold coin. The entire turn around time was only two weeks. Not bad at all. I may have to reassess my opinion of my favourite Crown Corporation.
