First Silver Proof! - Coin Community Forum

CrazyCat Pillar of the Community United States 556 Posts	Posted 06/19/2013 11:10 pm So I went to a pawn shop yesterday and decided to dig through their silver junk bin, and lo and behold I found a 1964 JFK Proof! Cost me $12.50. This is the first silver proof I've ever bought. Don't worry, I put it in a 2x2 when I brought it home and took it out to take the pictures then put it back in. I didn't leave the coin out in the open all this time. It's suffered enough scratches in that junk bin being with all those other silver coins. Report this Post to the Staff
