I can no longer find original Fed wrapped President $1 rolls at banks in my area. They have either given them all out or have returned them to the Federal Reserve Bank. I can get mixed rolls but almost all of the coins all well used and turning brown. Has anyone else still been able to find them in original Fed wrapped rolls?

Just picked up a Harrison 1st Term Denver roll, black & white wrapper, from my credit union. They had lots of them.

Which president are you looking for? If you are looking for any of them from President Arthur to the current release today ...you won't find them at your bank.

Back in April of 2012, the mint cut back on production and no longer supplies new issue coins to banks. That's right the new issues are now only sold to collectors via the US Mint website at a hefty premium.

My bank has tons of fresh Jacksons, Lincoln and Grants but I'm tied of looking at their ugly mugs ...lol. Gimme a nice minty Washington or a Jefferson any day.

I do have a few rolls from the early years, not sure of the design. If you can give me a list, I may be able to see what I can have duplicate of.

SA4H, Thanks for the offer, but I was trying to find some new ones to spend and found it curious that with millions of them taking up storage space in the Federal Reserve that I can't seem to be able to get any through local banks.
