Help With 1995 Canadian Cent Error - Coin Community Forum

Copperdog Valued Member Canada 131 Posts	Posted 06/20/2013 11:11 pm I'm a huge collector of Canadian error cents but this one has got me stumped . Any explanation of this error would be helpful .There seems to be a lot of high and low spots throughout both sides and the design under the cent on the reverse looks interesting . ErrorCoins222 Pillar of the Community United States 1699 Posts	Posted 06/20/2013 11:52 pm It's a die clash. The obverse and reverse dies hit in the absence of a planchet. What you're seeing on the reverse is the transferred design of the tiara, and the outline of the leaf on the obverse. It's a strong clash. Nice coin! Report this Post to the Staff
