I had a good chuckle from a flyer for an automotive "blowout sale" that I got. There are several prizes that I COULD be ELIGIBLE to PLAY to win, IF I scratch off 3 poker chips that are worth $25,000.
Mmmhmmm.. one of those.
It might as well have "junk mail" stamped on it.

Check out what they call a "Golden dollar"
In the fine print they say odds of winning one golden dollar are 39,987:40,000.
If they give away even one actual Gold american eagle, I will eat my hat.

We get these all the time. Every one we get has a Sacagawea or Presidential "golden dollar" though. That one has to be too good to be true.

^^ Exactly. They never advertised a 1oz "Gold" round. They look golden to me, just like the paper its printed on looks yellow.

I'd say the intention is to be SACs, but mistaken use of poorly-vetted clip art. Remember, the mint pushed the term "golden dollar" when they came out.
