Poll Question
Okay, I know that there have been a lot of polls about this, but I want a refreshed poll on what Amercan's prefer. You don't have to explain why. Just vote on the poll. Okay, I think I got it right that time. You know what they say: "Third time's a charm"

Isn't "I want to use the Half along side the Dollar Coin and $2 bill" the same as "I want to use Halves, Dollar Coins and $2 Bills?" I chose "I want to use Halves, Dollar Coins and $2 Coins." I could have also chose "I want to use Halves, Dollar Coins $2 Coins but NO $5 Coins," but the $5 coins is a toss-up for me.

Believe it or not, my option isn't even listed lol
I'm okay with how it is now but use the half more. I think both dollar bills and coins can circulate together, as has been the case since almost the beginning.

coinsearcher83,
What is your opinion on the $2 bill, and what would you think of a circulating $2 coin along side the $2 bill, even though the $2 bill would circulate more than the $2 coin, as is the current case with the $1 bill vs, dollar coin? (-:

I think the first issue would be having the $2 bill to circulate at all, really. They're trying with the series 2009/2013 bills, but they still don't really circulate. I'm not sure where all the new $2 bills go.. Probably to Where's Georgers. If the US ever gets to the point where $2 bills circulate more, then they can consider a coin in the style of the Twonie. The key here is being able to get vending machines and self-checkout machines, which is where the coins would be of most use.

I'm from the Land Downunder. Why on Earth did we change from good 'ole Pounds Shillings and Pence, way back in '66? The system actually worked superbly!

Replacing the dollar bill with a flood of two bills would keep the paper manufacturer happy. This has been an obstacle to eliminating the dollar. The half dollar could be redesigned with a yearly change to the reverse. They would better be accepted by the public that way.

coinsearcher83,
Have they started ptinting Series 2013 FRNs yet? And what do you mean, they have been trying to get the $2 bill circulating with the Series 2009/2013 (if Series 2013 is out, and I didn't figure that they would print any more new $2 bills until the redesigned version came out)

Fox,
I'm not sure about the state of Series 2013 bills yet. Last I knew, they were trying to do all the 12 districts' $2 bills. I'm not sure if they have enough 2009 plates for all those or not.
I guess I misworded what I was trying to say. They're not actively trying to circulate $2 bills, but when they print them in relatively large groups like Series 2003A and the Series 2009, it seems the older ones are being used and needing replacement, but I don't see them all that much, so I was wondering where they all went/go.
