Hi

The coin weighs 1.455 grams, and has dimensions of 11.5 x 12.5 millimeters.

It was bought in a batch of "uncleaned coins from the Holy Land".

Any info would be helpful.

Might want to asd an admin to move this to the ancients section. I see what looks like a four-legged creature, maybe a horse or a camel...other than that. Sorry!

Hi,

I fixed the images, sorry!
I messed up, but it should be all good now.

I really hope somebody can make some sense of this. I have been trying to quite some time.

Doesn't this look like it?

"Square coin" and "bull" both indicate Indian origin to me; I'm not sure which state or time period, though. It certainly isn't a coin from the Holy Land.

I agree Sap. I can imagine a Kushan, Indo-Greek or Bactrian coin being lost in that area though, perhaps through trade.
I have people on another forum telling me it's a horse, not a bull, suggesting this coin: Stumped-On-This-Square-Coin,-Humped-Bull-Right?/Bust-Right?
