The first coin is the silver $1 Port Arthur Coin. This retails at $78.00. The second series of coins is the Gold Tasmanian Devil coins. These come in 1/25oz, 1/10oz and 1/2oz coins. Retail is $95.00, $179.00 and $789.00 respectively. The last release is the Platnium Tasmanian Bluegum coins. These come 1/10oz and 1/2oz coins. The first coin of the 5 years series features the Blue Sapphire housed in either a gold or silver locket coin. The $1 1oz silver locket coin retails at $99.00 and the $100 1oz gold coin at $1595.00. The next group of items released is the fifth part of the 2007 Discover Australia Series. The $1 silver proof features Sydney and retails at $78.00. The Gold coins Feature the platypus. The Platnium coins feature the Golden Wattle. The Perth Mint has announced their 2008 Bullion coin program. Features of the program include old favourites like the Aussie Gold Nugget series and the silver Kookaburra series. The silver koala series has expanded to include a greater range of sizes. The second series of lunar coins will also start in 2008 with both gold and silver lunar rat coins.
