Page 44 Charlton shows a blundered I on DEI---at the bottom bar of the I.
I don't think it exists because if it did-- there would be some of this marker sticking out of the top bar.

Any thoughts out there?

My hypothesis is :
The Charlton example is merely a doubled I ----related to a great number of doublings of the legends DEI--My rough estimates are 4 to 7 % of these coins have doublings in this area.

Hi KUH85---Your wife's listing at eCrater has doublings on DEI---nice coin---I call these doublings "Twisted E's"-- and make up my 4-7%.
