I have a list of Conders that I aim to acquire. They are all people at their work stations - this is the first I've acquired. Vulcan at Anvil - theres also a fella at a big steel press thing with a furnace in view, a copper worker, a very rare view of a metal forge scene, a guy at a loom, etc etc.

Today a person was having a conder sale. I only got two (and a medallion I fancied) but I think I did alright.

The purchase averages to £2.75 per coin (Or $4 if you'd prefer). Not bad.

Im going to have to hang up the ebay account for a while whilst I recoup losses (I got a bit of disposable income recently, hence the purchases).

I bought these because they are in good condition - hopefully the edges will be really readable. I've decided not to repeat the French conder incident! Also, Wilkinson's tokens are often vandalised.

Ben, The John Wilkinson Token is a (Nice) contempory counterfeit. See the legend: WILKISON.

I am pleased to see more conders on CC, keep up the good work.

didnt even read it before I bought it! thats a nice easter egg - I didnt even consider it being a counterfeit apart from the funky date. That makes me a bit easier about paying £5 in auction for it
