Hi guys, I did a ouija board reading with the family using a printed alphanumberical piece of paper to call forth my grandpa. If this simply just seems silly and fake to you, please stop reading immediately. Anyways, my grandpa when asked questions such as "What is my name?" accurately answers them with correct spelling. Although I've never met him (he passed away in 1985), he knows EVERYTHING about me. The spirit of my deceased grandpa can also see objects through a webcam, as I held a stuffed animal through the webcam to be viewed by my grandpa's spirit called in Vietnam, he was able to identify it. Anyways back on topic. I asked "Should I buy more silver", this is a very vague question as I should of asked Is the price of silver going to increase, My grandpa responded "No". Anyways, until the next time, I'll ask if the prices of silver is going to increase and I will get the news to you guys.
If anyone have any questions about this, please let me know.

Sidestepping the question of spirit communication, let's assume that the Ouija Board is a tool to access your unconsciousness. a "NO" answer could be interpreted in one of two ways:
1) You have an unconscious preference for not buying silver at this time. 2) Your instinct is telling you not to buy at this time.
As it is always best to go with your hunches/instinct/feelings the interpretation of "NO" is "DO NOT buy silver at this time."

You might want to Google "Ideomotor effect". I'm just saying...

Hey, you never know. Your method may be more accurate than the guesses some of us have made over the last few years on where silver prices would be today. But you do need to rule out unconscious movement. If there are numbers on the board (no idea what one looks like), have the spirit guess spot prices in a week or a month. If the spirit ascertains this, repeat the test to make sure it wasn't a lucky guess.
As the bard said, "There are more things in heaven and earth,... Than are dreamt of in your philosophy."

I always use my 'magic 8 ball' when I communicate with the spirits.

I disagree. Unconscious movement is the only rational answer. Those of us who have sat at a Ouija Board all say "I didn't move it." And of course, we did not consciously move it. But our unconscious minds did.
Astrology has been successfull in timing the markets, but those who use it keep it their secret. Even then, the timing must be perfect to within a margin of four minutes. Not my area.
The traditional rulerships would apply:
Sun = gold Moon = silver, and presumably the other "white" metals. [platinum, palladium, etc.] Saturn = copper, nickel and other "base" metals Mercury = mercury (used in EVERY compact fluorescent bulb made) Jupiter = ? Metals which expand and benefit an industrial use would be an area to investigate.
If anyone wants to track metals with Astrology, I'll offer a hand. I just don't do it myself.

Just because he is a spirit now and I have little doubt of that and his communication with you, but never the less he cant see into the future, minus using the stars as astrologist do lol....
Be careful as you open doorways messing with such and that door is not restricted to just the good who has past as evil can cross through and get to know you and that is the last thing anybody needs an evil spirit taking interest in them, just study the Lorain's work via what the new movie The Conjuring is based on, muuuu ha ha ha.....

You know that Ouija started as and still is trademarked by Hasbro as a board game eh~ Nothing to do with divining until I think around WWI.
@traevin: the bard failed to realize that it was the same philosopher that dreamt up heaven and earth :)

Even if you make the HUGE leap of faith required and assume that your dead grandfather can communicate with you what makes you think he knows any more about silver than you yourself do?

Quote: ...what makes you think he knows any more about silver than you yourself do? That's pretty much a cultural and philosophical discussion. I gotta say, though, in most of the afterlife scenarios I'm familiar with, I can't see anyone who made it to the great beyond(TM) giving a rat's bum about the silver price.

Perhaps his grandfather had a career in the silver industry?
However, if being dead magically gives you the ability to predict the future skip the sliver question and ask for the numbers in the next big lottery.

I would just love to add to this thread a smart and funny comment as our fine members have with their great posts.
Unfortunately for me, it hits home. In my late teens, a close friend invoked spirits one too many times and his last seance scared the bejesus out of him and 2 other guys, to the point where my friend was never the same after that. Subsequently, he was left with emotional and psychological scars.Probably spiritually as well. .
From my understanding about the board, its a conduit for ill will, low laying spirits still connected to earth and who jump at the opportunity to manifest as the door opens.
After reading from different sources a long time ago, its seems that, in allot of instances the specific spirit invoked is not who we'd hope for. I'm not saying that's the case for you silverdollar. I believe you communicated with your grandfather because you probably initiated this with good intentions.
All I want to leave here is to say please be careful. Invoking spirits is serious business (because we're not meant to do it) and your grandpa might not want to come back and manifest for trivial reasons.
I'm sorry if I pooped on your thread silverdollar, I'm only doing it because I care. BTW: Spirits, in no way can they predict the future, no more than we living can. Even if they could, they probably wouldn't be allowed to... Peace
