Gold 20 pesos or the way overlooked 24k pure Canada half oz. Maple or even a 2013 Panda half oz. at sub 700 shipped from APMEX on ebay or mcm is a real gauge I use to consider buys.....

I also look at the price on 1 oz. quarter oz. and 1/10z an 20z as well anytime we get clos to 1200....

Curious what the board thinks this rare piece from 1997 is worth max right now as this one below is best priced to ship of the 3 listed on ebay?

I think 1049 is just way high with falling prices.....

It does seem rather expensive.

You could have a Byzantine solidus in mint condition for less.

Yes 800 would be my max and that is way to high esp with gold threatning to fall more the start of next week and beyond as that is the obvious trend in the last 6 months or so....

With that being said I think many are setting idle to see if a much better buying window presents itself here in the next couple of weeks or so.....

I suspect Gold has the potential to retreat further perhaps as far as US$800 oz

Most interesting thoughts all and Aostrokiwi from Austria eh most interesting....

I think the majority of the metal heads in this forum probably feel that way as well on the 800 gold and it would not surprise me in the least even though my gut feeling the bottom number followed by a flat line period is 1000 per oz.....

I think it may hover there for a while until the Worldly dam which seems plugged starts to give way via years and stress as well as countless spending of funds not printed yet and not enough fed fingers to fill the holes, or the any second a terrorist attack could happen or large scale war, or ofcourse any huge natural disaster looming anytime.....

Everything I mentioned above last paragraph, not IF any will happen but rather WHEN each event will occur....
