Just bought this Isabella Quarter today. It was a coin I didn't expect to pick up for quite a while, but I got a screaming deal on this one with great eye appeal.

So you may already be aware that greysheet prices for this coin only move $10 from XF to AU. This coin shows some hairlines, but looks great in person. The second photo shows the toning on the reverse.

Unfortunately, this coin looks as though it has been cleaned with metal polish.
But hey! I don't have one, and if I can pick up any example for a song, I would be happy too!

Very nice looking coin! I agree it does look to have been cleaned at some point in the past which is a shame, but I'd also be very happy to have it as well.

Yes, I agree about the cleaning. You can see the hairlines. The photos are much harsher and shinier than it appears in person, but the fact it is so tough to photograph points to that cleaning.

Decisions on what to collect belong to the individual numismatist ... and I thank you for sharing this Isabella with us.

Agree with the mentioned concern for a cleaning ... most likely it happened and this coins is 'impaired' in the eyes of many.

The eyes that matter are yours ... if you are happy then we salute your newest acquisition.
