I just received this in change with a couple of other 2013 quarters, and I do have a question. I have seen online that half of the 12.5 million produced were colorized, but how are they distributed in rolls? Are they mixed together with uncolored commems as well as caribou quarters? Or are there entire rolls of colorized coins distributed by the RCM?

Circulation rolls contain a mix of both colored and non-colored.No caribous mixed in,a roll of De Salaberry will contain only those.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

At the coin exchange they were giving out rolls that are mixed colour and non-colour.

However I do recall seeing a dealer selling colour only war of 1812 coins. I believe that some of the dealers can get them special ordered from the Winnipeg mint.
