Here is the last of the trade coin.

These are AR Drachm from the Indian Gupta Empire, they are all of Kumaragupta I414-455 AD and range in size of 10.5 mm -13.1 mm and weight of 1.87 to 2.17 grams. I don't know enough about these to tell which end is which. They are described as Bust of the king right Garuda standing facing wings spread. They are neat little coins.

i got of those from AN also...the kings bust is on the first pic, the very abstract bird is on the second....I'm pretty sure.

It's a Garuda on the reverse! An eagle head with winged man- body. I am sure if you google " Garuda" in images, you'll see what I mean. What I like about this series is the fact that they were intended to be round coins, and ended up beings square.
