I bought this coin on ebay, and I have my doubts about it, but I still have trouble photographic bright silver coins.

I'd appreciate any thoughts on whether the surfaces have been tampered with, and grading.

In lower light, the coin looks okay to me -- AU-50ish, natural surfaces:

BUT ... look at the same coin (on the same paper background) with some artificial lighting:

What do you think .. has this coin been cleaned?

Looks to be Mid AU, but I would say it was dipped a few times versus being scrubbed or wiped harshly. The luster is dull around the center, almost washed out. just my opinion.

My feeling too. Would you have been able to tell it was cleaned from the first two photos, rather than second two?
