On the Internet, popularity attracts undesirables. The number of people who try to join this forum just to spam their website or whatever, even with the current rules in place, would probably surprise you. This site is, first and foremost, an information site. Without such rules in place, we'd be flooded; you'd probably be hard-pressed to find any actual coin information at all in amongst all the spam and advertisements.
