Recent half pennies. Two really good ones - a scarcer Manchester halfpenny at an alright price and a really cheap Coventry. How did I get a Coventry for 99p with another lot, combined postage? I shall never tell.
Manchester - A Fellow carrying a bale of cotton - in the middle ages, people were often paid to lug heavy things long ways on routes not suited to horses. Pretty uncommon.

Coventry - Lady Godiva in the nip on a horse, but this is worn enough to be safe for the forum I feel. The die cutter had clearly not been to Pidcocks menangerie, that elephant is hilarious. It gets better on a slightly later token, but I like this one. bit scraped.


Ive got a spreadsheet going crunching my numbers. I am currently legal owner of 22 conder tokens. Its got lots of calculations running - I've got average spend and average overall cost and inflation, based on average cost to face value (its showing 335000%).
