Kyzikos mint. 40 nummis. Cant make out the ruler probably Justinian I... r. 527-565 AD

I believe your coin is Justin I 518-527, it is an AE follis from the Cyzicus mint (KYZ), Sear# 94. From what I can see of the obverse legend it looks a bit odd to me, just doesn't look like what you should see on a Justin coin. However everything else seems to fit.

Thanks for the quick response and information,as noted Echizento obverse legend it looks a bit odd for Justin I but certainly this is his bust. Best Regards

 there is a justin I with the triple star and kyz...a 94 variant, so i'll go with that also. but those double Ps on the left are weird...if I'm seeing that right., they should be on the right side of the legend.

Those P's are what I notices as odd. I thought maybe struck over another coin, but I didn't see any evidence of that.

I looked under the magnifier...nothing.Unfortunately there are traces of porosity. Regards
