Taken awhile but I got it on its own
just waiting for the bi;;ing from Brian

A little history
My wifes great grandparents operated one of the first stagecoach companies in OZ. Yes ol granny used to ride shotgun.
Shame, they went bust, and they sold the shotgun too.
So the likes of Cobb & Co have good family memories to those of us who did not have to live then.

Have you got this one from the Perth Mint[:p]

Cobb and Co Reverse

Though it is minted by the PM, it is not an Aussie issue. It is for the Cook Islands.Nonetheless it is a beautiful coin. When it was issued, it became a talking point in certain numismatic circles as there are only four horses depicted on the coin, whereas there are five horses in the original painting.
