For the fun of it I picked up a box of customer wrapped quarters today from the bank to hunt through. In the first roll there is a 2013 Laura Secord quarter non-colored. My question is...For the regular circulation/business strikes of this quarter...is the bust of Laura Secord supposed to be cameo (frosted) or shiny like the rest of the coin? The one I have looks like a deep cameo proof coin would look. This is the very first 2013 quarter I have seen so I'm not sure what is standard. I checked the RCM site and it seems that the coins in the 10 pack have non cameo (frosted) busts.

I will watch for replies.

OK...thank you for the reply. I did some searching and found a post on this site showing a picture of the 10 pack and the non-colored coins do have a frosted bust. I guess my question is answered. Weird that the pics on the RCM website do not show them as frosted. Ahh well...just a regular coin but it is my first. :)

All (4) of the 1812 non coloured quarters have a frosted portrait, the colour don't.
