I've been led too believe that there are two varieties of this coin, with one having a extra symbol or missing symbol,
which is mine and which symbol is it. And I am aware that the one is alot pricier than the other, but with my luck I have the cheaper one.

I assume you're trying to tell the difference between KM/Y# 125 and KM/Y# 125.1. The "characters" referred to in the description for KM/Y 125 are two characters appearing between the words "Hupeh province" and "1 mace 4.4 candareens", in the positions where your coin has two little six-point asterisks. Here is an example on zeno.ru.

Because your coin doesn't have these characters there, it means yours is KM.Y 125.1. Yes, it's the common one. Sorry.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
