Firstly I am no web designer that's for sure.
I am revamping my site and would like to make it useful for people wanting to grade and attribute 2 Cent coins I will eventually be moving it over to another domain I own that is specifically set up for Two Cent coins but currently its being hosted at my original site.

The comments section will have attribution data added as I have time to go through and review each coin. The main purpose at the moment is to provide a pictorial grade set and help others identify problem coins.
I will be adding coins over the next few days to fill in the grade gaps.

Its still fairly basic and I want to keep it simple but I am open to suggestions on how to improve things.

Richard,
It's an interesting site.

However, I'd like to see coins of major varieties side by side so that I can see the difference (say for the 1864 large and small motto) at a glance.

Richard, good job! Lotsa luck. While side-by-side comparisons are a plus, I think where you've noted the main key characteristics, eg. "berries by banner", does it for me. Looks like you've covered the bases quite well. I'll undoubtedly bookmark this.

I will add a side by side comparison with the major points highlighted.
just have to dig out two matched grade coins to use.

Great reference site.

You may possibly consider having the pictures open in a new window rather than opening on a new page. I did that on my web site for the production awards of WWII and the people visiting the site liked that a lot, they didn't have to keep hitting the back button to go back to the page they were on after looking at each enlarged image.

They can also open two pictures simultaneously for comparison too.

I can provide the html code to do that if you don't have it handy, just email me if you decide to try it.
