Since my local coin shop never seems to have bullion or junk silver/gold anymore since the price drop, I was thinking of buying from an online dealer. After a quick google search I found Silver/Gold Bull. They seem to have a good selection although their premiums are pretty high. However I like them because:
!) They accept paypal.
2) There is no minimum purchase required.
3) They are a Canadian company (doesn't seem to be a lot of them)
So my question is, what are they like to do business with? Has anyone bought from them? I like the fact that I can pay through paypal, and they are BBB accredited.
Anyone who has bought from them please share their experience(s).

1. they accept paypal but will charge a premium, best and fastest way may be to pay through online bill payment if you have RBC. 2. fairly low shipping within Canada as well, a definite plus 3. there are plenty - gatewest, J&M, Canadian Coin and Currency, Colonial Acres, ....
The SGB owner and staff are all terrific people. They have one of the best customer service I've experience buying online. Fast, secure, reasonable, now only if they carried a wider selection.

Yes I have bought a bunch of things from them , and as the others have said they are top notch , never had a problem yet. Just want to add that the bill payment method is free , just add them to you pay bill section of your online bank account and your good to go , all of the top banks in Canada should work , they list the banks on the site if you look around there.
Also they video tape you order while its being packaged. While the shipping is a bit higher then other places they only use signed delivery so the post office cant just drop you order on your doorstep and leave , they need your sig and its tracked online.

In these times, I would only buy bullion from a large specialist bullion dealer. Most offer bullion in both bar and coin form. The premiums are rigidly set, and the spot bullion price is very well known by both the buyer and seller. The purchase of bullion in this way boils down to some decision making that is almost clinical in nature. That is how I bought a one ounce Pt coin about 15 years ago. Curiously, it sits 'out of place' in my munismatic collection. It came from the Perth Mint. They refine gold, as well as sell the stuff directly to the market.

For the prices that they are charging they should be super nice.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to say that yesterday I received my order. I must say I am satisfied. It took eight business days from the order being placed to having the bullion in my hands. Considering that the company is based on the other end of the country I consider that pretty good. It seems like that is the only way to get bullion coins where I live because the lcs is always out of stock and the gold and silver buyers charge huge markups (35-40%) and even they seem to be having trouble keeping stock.
