Just looking to diversify IRA accounts to include precious metals. So far, precious metal custodians seems to be charging pretty high fees. What are your experiences? Any good precious metal custodians with low fees?

a big waste of time and money. I already looked into those and no way, no how would I do one. You have to pay fees to store, insure, etc etc etc. All the while, you need the PMs to raise in value. Its not worth it IMO. Stay way and do a regular IRA and if you must, then just stack physical metal.

Again, to be clear, what turned me off was all the fees that add up to be in compliance with the standings. To me its like everyone has their hands in your pocket while your money sits there and does zero.

I would agree with yup if thats a route you want to go I would do it myself instead of paying someone else too.

yea thats what got me. To qualify with the IRS, you pay two other 3rd parties to store it and manage it. So that costs money. All the while, you are counting on the coins increasing in value.

Heck, if you really love gold and silver you could buy the stuff yourself, stack it, store it and also open an IRA regular one and put in it gold and silver miners and GLD and SLV.

So yea, I think its too much fees wise to handle.
