Hello,

The coming weeks I will sell +/-4 coins wich dont have the attraction to me I hoped for.
The follwing coins will be te last to show for the next +/-3 weeks (i hope)

Anyways, I made an offer for both coins a week ago and suddenly they were accepted today.
For a total of 39 euro's incl shipping is a fair deal, the Severus Alexander is more worth imo
I like both of them!

SEVERUS ALEXANDER, 222-235 AD. Æ Sestertius (15.82 gm), 232.
Laureate cuirassed bust / Sol standing holding globe. RIC.525

About $25 US per coin, not bad I would have bought those also.

Very reasonable price. If you can tone the Severus Alexander it will look much better.
Someone cleaned it up a bit too much. The reverse is quite sharp and even the 'naughty' bits are quite apparent
(and where they belong I might add !)
Nice larger size Sestertii are a good way to get a portrait gallery going when they can be had for this price.
And for the most part you need not worry too much about the fakes. I once bought a very very nice (VF) Hadrian Sestertius for $50.
It was so pleasing that I reasoned that even a museum replica of that quality would set me back $50 !

At that price I would jump on these two. Very nice.
