I have a 2008 Oklahoma colorized coin. The color is not centered on the stamp. It is rotated slightly. The 2 in 2008 hits on top of the 2nd 0. And the top tail feather is over the bottom one. Has anyone ever seen this and if so does it add any value?

If you mean a colorized State Quarter that the coloring doesn't line up with the coins design unfortunately the color was applied by someone else after the coins left the mint and are considered damaged coins worth face value to most collectors. you might be able to get a buck or so if you found someone who really really liked it .

I thought the error was the colorization...

Colorized coins are not official mint issues, and therefore have little to no collector interest. Add to it the fact the colorizing was misapplied and it makes it less desirable. The only way that thing coin might have added interest is if the coin was minted (not the colorizing) with a SIGNIFICANT rotational error, but based on your description it would only be a very minor rotation error, and again, no added interest.

Some people do collect these to have something a little different, but they really don't have any value aside from face value, as others said already. In a way, I like the idea, but I like pretty much anything that makes our boring money look more interesting.
