That's an interesting and varied list of coins you have there.

I collect World coins, all centuries all cultures, from the invention of coinage 2 1/2 millennia ago.
Coins of the 20th Century are natuarlly the most accessible. I have special interest in ancients and 19th Centuries.

As with all coins, values are highly dependent on condition. That includes ancient coins.

Any coin in the above list above in 'as struck' or 'uncirculated' condition can, just by reason of it's condition, be rare. Sometimes, as most collectors of World coins are aware, you can be lucky and get top condition World coins from dealers' junk bins. I really try to get the best condition coins that I can, if that is possible. Sometimes that is impossible, so a lot of coins in my collection are less than fine grade.

Do you have a copy of Krause World coins? My copies covering the last four centuries are at least ten years old, and the values are probably way wrong, but that does not bother me one jot. The illustrations are what makes these publications important. My copies came good condition second hand.

Nothing jumps out at me.
These notations, "authentic coin", "rare coin" â€" are these things in holders or something?

All the British ones listed are fairly common dates - nice to add to a collection, but not of great value. The two Victorian farthings, however, would certainly be worth something in EF or Uncirculated condition.

The Spanish 1957 50 Ptas and 1975 25 Ptas - these coins have two dates. The big, obvious date is the type authorisation date. The actual date of issue is in the little 6-pointed star on the reverse of each coin. This should have two incuse digits, which are the last two digits of the year of issue (e.g. 1960 appears as '60'). Several of the 1957 type 50 Ptas are NIFC issues and are scarce, and there's also an edge legend error (discussed elsewhere on this Forum) with the edge reading "UNA LIBRE GRANDE" instead of "UNA GRANDE LIBRE".

The Belgian 50c and 1F coins of the 1920s exist in French and Dutch language versions - the French type has "BELGIQUE" on the obverse and "BON POUR" on the reverse; the Dutch type has "BELGIE" and "GOED VOOR". For some years and types of coins, one variety is scarcer than the other - but I'm afraid yours are both common dates whichever the type.

Although not rare, the 1936 New Guinea penny has quite a following with UK collectors as it's one of the few coins to bear the titles of King Edward VIII, who reigned only for a few months before abdicating to marry Mrs Simpson!
