I received my new Ace 250 in the mail today, after I set it up I instantly hunted with it. My best find was a spoon that was stain-less steel. But hey I'm a beginner!

A find is a find buddy! Congrats on joining the metdet heaven!
Don't be disappointed with your find, some of the finds you see posted here are, lets say, a little 'stretched'. You got a signal, dug it and made a find. Stick with it bro, millions of coins are lost and you are on your way to finding them.

Thanks MetDet! I already have a spot I'm gonna detect. It's my Grandmother's Grandmother's house. It's all torn down and full of weeds, but with a little work I could find something amazing!

Yeah, we are going there when the weather cools down, the house has caved in so I'm not sure if I can get in it, but I can surely get around it after we clear up all the weeds and branches and stuff that have completely covered the area. We don't wanna do it right now b/c rattlesnakes have been coming out a lot lately.

I talked with my Grandmother today and she said that the house was built in the late 1800's so I'm excited.

I just bought a pin pointer from ebay. In NH now. Can't wait. I'll post about it later.
