Just thought this was a humorous variation of one of my V Nickles.

The date of this 1901 was too large on this variation. So some creative mink worker actually carved out a chunk of Lady Liberty's neck to get it to fit!!

I have not got into the V's yet ( or did but decided against it and sold them on ebay)so I don't know about them. would the cutout not be on all? sorry if it sounds stupid but V's are not my forte.

Oh! No problem. Was actually going to scan in a regular one.

All the other V coins has a perfectly straight neckline. I'd put this in the 'It's not my job category'. Instead of just putting the date in the right place, they instead decided to cut away the neck to make it fit!
